VIDEO: Paedophilia, Child Abuse, and Child Kidnapping by the State and Government -MUST SEE

A young lady by the name of Hollie Greig has key evidence against leading figures in the British Establishment.

The Establishment wants to separate mother and daughter by putting daughter into “care” so it will shut her up. Then the evidence against the paedophiles in the Establishment is silenced.

A gagging order of 70 years has been put on the evidence found by U.S police in Operation Ore. They unearthed evidence of 350-400 paedophiles at high levels of British society.

The Establishment and Social Services are actively involved in child trafficking.

(13 mins in) “Sarah Tether [Lib Dem] minister for Families and Children won’t reply to [simple questions] nor answer Freedom of Information requests…because the British government is stealing, abusing, and trafficking children”.

Neutrality is complicity.

(13 mins,17 secs in) “…politicians condone [child abuse] by the fact they will not take action.”

“Every MP has been informed about [child abuse]”

(13 mins, 19 secs) “David Cameron condones the abuse of children because he has done nothing.”

(13 mins, 20 secs) “[Ed] Miliband is the same” and “Clegg has got a big foot in the camp becase…Sarah Tether [fellow Liberal] is now covering up the trafficking of children through this system”.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Rosemary Dickson -INVESTIGATED FOR MISCONDUCT

AN INVESTIGATION will consider allegations of misconduct against a councillor in relation to the Cherkley Court planning application.

Earlier this month councillors granted planning permission for a private members’ golf course and luxury hotel at the 19th century estate near Leatherhead.

But following a meeting of the standards committee of Mole Valley District Council, Councillor Rosemary Dickson (Con, Leatherhead South) will be investigated over claims she breached the council’s code of conduct.

Council officers recommended refusal of the application, but Mrs Dickson proposed a motion to reject that recommendation at a meeting on April 4, then voted in favour of the final planning application on May 2.

A report from a meeting of the standards committee states: “The complainants allege that Councillor Dickson has breached the rules relating to the declaration of interests and that she was biased/predetermined.”

The report, from a meeting on April 30, lists seven issues including: the fact Mrs Dickson’s husband’s second cousin Joel Cadbury is a director of developer Longshot; her relationship with Longshot’s PR advisor Nick Kilby; and allegations of lobbying in favour of the plans.

It also notes that she tabled the motion to reject the advice of council officers; stated in an e-mail to Cherkley Campaign founder Kristina Kenworthy that she did not want to lose her right to vote; and did not fully represent her constituents’ views.

A minor point was noted that she lives in Givons Grove, where the residents’ company that owns the estate’s roads has entered into contracts with Longshot.

The report adds: “When the seven separate complaints were taken as a whole, there was reasonable enough doubt to indicate misconduct and a breach of the council’s code of conduct.” Mrs Dickson, who retained her council seat at the elections on May 3 with an increased majority, refutes the claims.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Pervez Choudhry -GUILTY OF BIGAMY; HAS TO WEAR TAG

The former leader of the Conservative party on Slough Borough Council who admitted having two wives at the same time is to be electronically tagged.

Pervez Choudhry, of Tuns Lane, Slough, had married his second wife in Pakistan but was still legally married to his first “arranged” wife.

Choudhry, 54, admitted bigamy at a previous hearing.

He was given a community order with a nighttime curfew, ordered to pay £5,500 to his second wife and fined £750.

Choudhry, who uses a wheelchair, married his first wife in 1986 and the pair had three children, the court heard.

Private detective

He said this was an arranged marriage after his family had decided he would wed his first cousin when he was aged 11.

They separated in 2007 but remained legally married, it was heard.

In October 2008 he met his second wife Dr Zabina Shahian but “untruthfully” told her he had been legally divorced, Judge Ian Grainger said.

Two months later the pair married in Pakistan, but she left him over concerns his first marriage may not have legally ended and hired a private detective to investigate.

Choudhry, who vowed to take his case to the Court of Appeal, claimed the religious ceremony in Pakistan was not recognised under UK law.

He told BBC News after the hearing: “I had no intention of deceiving anybody. I was simply trying to create a family unit.”

His second wife Dr Shahian said: “I was very devastated [when I found out he was still married].

“My life has been at a standstill. When I met him I took him at face value.”

Choudhry defected to the Tories in 2009 after being elected as the Labour candidate for Central Ward.

He was arrested and charged with one count of bigamy in August 2010.

He was suspended from the Conservative Party pending the investigation and stood as an independent, but lost his seat at the election earlier this month.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Sandy (Maurice) Ezekeil -FRAUD, ABUSE OF POSITION, MISCONDUCT

A former town hall leader accused of fraud and misconduct in a public office will not be suspended from sitting on the council.

Cllr Sandy Ezekiel, who represents the Clitonville East ward for the Conservative Party on Thanet District Council, was charged this week with fraud by abuse of position.

The 59-year-old – real name Maurice –of Crow Hill, Broadstairs, was also charged with misconduct in a public office.

Officers from the Serious Economic Crime Unit of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate also charged 64-year-old Philip Emanuel, of Laleham Gardens, Margate, with aiding and abetting fraud by abuse of position.

Despite the criminal investigation, a council spokeswoman said the authority would not be suspending Cllr Ezekiel from his elected position.

“This is an outstanding criminal matter that is being dealt with by the police,” she said.

Shadow Tory leader Cllr Robert Bayford said no decision had yet been made on whether Cllr Ezekiel would be suspended from the party.

“We haven’t addressed that yet; it’s something the Conservative group in Thanet and the Conservative Party will have to review,” he said.

Police say the alleged offences are related to a property in King Street, Margate, between September 2009 and February 2011.

Senior Crown Prosecutor with the CPS South East Complex Casework Unit Ken Goss said he advised Kent Police to charge the two men.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Brian Silvester -FACING TWO PROSECUTIONS

HIGH-PROFILE Cheshire East councillor Brian Silvester is to face a double prosecution.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has this week confirmed it will be taking him to court alongside the council.

Two weeks ago the Chronicle revealed how Cllr Silvester, a former deputy council leader, was to be prosecuted by his own authority for failing to obtain a licence for a house of multiple occupation.

But now the councillor of 35 years standing will face a joint prosecution by the council and the fire service in relation to the building he rents out as bedsits at his home in Shavington House Farm on Crewe Road, Shavington.

STATE CRIME: Foreigners Allowed to Buy-up British Assets and Make the People Suffer

ABOVE: Deregulation: Former Tory Chancellor Geoffrey Howe made it easier for foreigners to snap up British companies

Just for a moment, imagine being a tourist in search of the full British experience. Where would you start? Well, you might take a sight-seeing trip around London on a red double-decker bus.

You’d possibly visit a quintessentially British store, such as Boots the chemist, Selfridges or Harrods, before having a proper English tea at the Savoy, Fortnum & Mason or the Dorchester.

You’d almost certainly go home, via a British airport, thinking you’d seen a slice of the real Britain. But, in one sense at least, you’d be totally wrong.

The “Government”‘s War on the British Army: the “British” State Forces War Hero to Live in Tent because He’s Not British Enough

Again, we must ask: how much longer is the British Army going to put up with this direct attack on it and its personnel by those with an ulterior motive who are so happy to send other people’s children [the British Army] to die for their political adventures but will not send their own?

We sane, objective, and sensible people must ask ourselves, and also the British Army, “when is duty and loyalty to the country” also “misguided paid mercenary work for an ‘elite’ who play them like pawns in the game of geo-politics and self-aggrandisement”?

It is clear that the British Army’s loyalty is not to the the criminal, corrupt, degenerate, warmongering ‘government’ -rather it is to the British nation who are –as evidenced by the charities they have set up on behalf of the British Army– the real friends and supporters of the British Army and who have consistently rejected the political adventures in Afghanistan and the to-date 409 British lives needless wasted for no gain whatsoever.

Any right-minded person would curse the Lib-Lab-Conmen and withhold their vote.

A FORMER soldier is living in a tent in a friend’s garden — after being told he is not entitled to benefits.

John Heaps, 50, served in the Falklands, the first Gulf War, and Northern Ireland during his 16 years in the Army.

But when he returned to the UK in February after spending two years cycling around the world, he was told he had failed the Department for Work and Pensions’ Habitual Residence Test.

And without help, he has been forced to sleep in a friend’s garden in Leeds, West Yorks.

Divorced dad-of-two John said: “I have always been of the opinion that everybody is supposed to be treated as an individual but they do not listen to each individual story.

“I think it stinks, it’s beggars belief. I have travelled the world but this is my place of birth and my home.

“Essentially all that’s happened is I’ve been on holiday.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. George Lord -JAILED FOR FOUR YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT

FORMER Worcestershire County Council leader George Lord has been jailed for four years for a series of sexual assaults.

The 79-year old was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court this morning (Tuesday).

We reported last month how Lord had pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault on a girl in the 1970s when he was a lay minister of a church in Droitwich and performed a number of sexual acts on the teenager.

He had already been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old in the council chamber at Worcestershire County Council in 2010.

Lord was told he will spend at least half of his four year sentence in jail.

_____________________________________________________________

A disgraced ex-Tory council leader on Thursday admitted molesting a teenage girl more than 30 years ago and groping another junior member of staff in the town hall while he was in office.

Dr George Lord, 79, former head of Worcestershire County Council, assaulted the girl – aged either 14 or 15 – between 1977 and 1979 while he was a church preacher.

Lord, from Bromsgrove, Worcs., had already been convicted of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old girl in the council chamber while he was leader in 2010.

Reporting restrictions have only just been lifted to allow the media to report on the latest case.

A previous hearing was told Lord assaulted the girl by ”touching her bottom and vagina” without her consent.

Lord on Thursday pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault at Birmingham Crown Court.

Lord, wearing a dark shirt and grey tie, stared straight ahead during the 10-minute hearing.

He admitted indecently assaulting a 14 or 15-year-old girl between September 1977 and 1979.

Lord was remanded into custody for pre-sentence reports and was warned he faces a prison sentence.

Judge Nigel Godsmark QC told him: “You have pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault.

“I am adjourning this case so that a pre-sentence report may be compiled, not only to tell me about your previous standing but also to tell me if you present a risk to women.”

Speaking after the case, Detective Inspector Jon Wallis, of West Mercia Police, said: “While these two cases were separated by many years, in both George Lord has abused a position of authority.

“In the first case in the 1970s, he was a lay minister of a church who groomed a teenage girl for his own gratification.

“Then in 2010, in his capacity as Leader of Worcestershire County Council, he took advantage of a young woman in a junior position.

“The women he targeted, who have been left traumatised by their ordeal, have shown great fortitude to support a prosecution and achieve justice for themselves.

“We would like to reassure any other victims of similar offences that if they come forward, West Mercia Police will support them and pursue prosecutions wherever possible, regardless of when the offence took place.

“We encourage them to contact us and at the very least we can put them in touch with local support agencies.”

It was revealed in December 2010 that Dr Lord had been arrested over allegations of sexual offences after officers confirmed earlier in the year they were looking into a complaint made by a woman regarding an alleged historic sexual offence.

Lord was released on bail then pending further investigation.

ARTICLE: 1917 Act Could Be Used to Strip Convicted Peers

Tory MP Matthew Hancock tells theFT“I don’t see why the rules for peers should be entirely different to the rules for MPs”. As Jim Pickardpoints out, legislation has already passed that, with an amendment or two, could make this happen. The 1917 Deprivation of Titles Act was used to strip Peers who supported Germany in WWI…

ARTICLE: Tories use taxpayers’ money for pro-Turkey propaganda.

Disclaimer: this website does not support the B.N.P. or any other political party. Credit where credit’s due: this M.E.P. has aided the People by blowing the whistle; and this is the exact position and raison d’etre of this website –hence our due link to this article.

Tories use taxpayers’ money for pro-Turkey propaganda. Nick Griffin MEP blows the whistle on the latest double-dealing from Cameron’s treacherous tax-eaters.

The Conservative-dominated European Conservatives and Reformists Group within the European Parliament has this week used part of its taxpayer-provided budget to fund an exhibition on “religious and cultural diversity in Turkey.

The display, in the heart of the EU’s huge complex in Brussels, is put on in collaboration with the Yunus Emre Institute, a well-funded Turkish body whose job is to spread Turkish cultural influence back into countries which used to be ruled by the Turkish Sultanate but which won their independence in the various wars of liberation against that medieval tyranny.

The exhibition, which is entitled Sharing the Sunlight, portrays Muslims, Christians and Jews living as equal citizens and good friends and neighbours in a picture-postcard Turkey.

Much is made of the restoration of several churches and synagogues at the expense of the Turkish state. No mention is made, however, of the continued wanton destruction of churches and monasteries in Turkish-occupied Cyprus. Since that island still has a majority Greek Christian population, the need for cultural/religious/ethnic cleansing in order to advance Islam is still there.

In Turkey, by contrast, centuries of persecution have so reduced non-Muslim communities that they are irrelevant and a few of their buildings can be restored for the tourists and in order to fool EU liberals into not noticing the steady Islamisation of the secular Turkey created by Kemal Ataturk.

ARTICLE: Ken Livingstone’s anti-”fascist” group appoints “fascist” as vice-chair

One of this blog’s oldest friends, Azad Ali, has a great new post. As the Harry’s Place blog reports, Azad is the new vice-chair of Unite Against Fascism, the ostensibly anti-racist group (in fact more of a meal-ticket for the leadership of the Socialist Workers’ Party.)

Azad is the community affairs co-ordinator of the extremist Islamic Forum of Europe, which controls the East London Mosque and which isdedicated, in its own words, to changing the “very infrastructure of society, its institutions, its culture, its political order and its creed … from ignorance to Islam.” Through “hisbah” (the enforcement of Islamic law) and “jihad,” it aims to create a “global” Islamic dictatorship, the caliphate, and its “primary work” in this “is in Europebecause it is this continent, despite all the furore about its achievements, which has a moral and spiritual vacuum.”

The IFE has already made some progress towards its goal, exercisingstrong influence over Tower Hamlets Council through its close ally, the elected mayor, Lutfur Rahman. Lutfur’s council has been busily engaged in enforcing Islamic law on, for instance, local strip clubs and a gay pub. At the last election Azad and the IFE also helped to deliver extraordinary and unprecedented swings in their East London heartland for their equally close friend, Ken Livingstone (Ken had given the East London Mosque more than £1 million of City Hall money to build the IFE a new headquarters, despite the strenuous objections of his officials.)

Azad has written on his IFE blog of his “love” for Anwar al-Awlaki, the al-Qaeda cleric. He used to attend talks by Al-Qaeda’s main representative in the UK, Abu Qatada. He has described al-Qaeda as a “myth” and said that the Mumbai terrorist attacks were not terrorism. On his IFE blog, he advocated the killing of British troops in Iraq (he sued a newspaper for reporting this, and lost.) Filmed by an undercover reporter for my Channel 4 Dispatches on the IFE, Azad said: “Democracy, if it means at the expense of not implementing the sharia, of course no-one agrees with that.” His response to this exposure was to threaten our undercover reporter.

It would, I think, be fair to describe Azad Ali as an Islamic fascist.

And Azad’s immediate boss, UAF’s chair, is… Ken Livingstone. In this small world, isn’t it fascinating how the same names keep cropping up?

(2012) Conservative Party Co-treasurer Peter Cruddas -QUITS OVER CASH-FOR-ACCESS CLAIM

The Conservative Party’s co-treasurer has resigned after claims he had offered access to David Cameron for up to £250,000.

Peter Cruddas, who runs an online trading company, allegedly told potential donors that gifts of more than £200,000 would get them into the party’s “premier league.”

This would be enough to get donors invitations to dinners with the Prime Minister and George Osborne, the Chancellor, it was alleged. Mr Cruddas was apparently filmed making the offer to undercover reporters.

He was filmed apparently telling reporters posing as businessmen that making a large donation would be “awesome for your business” and that “things will open up for you”.

The party immediately launched an “urgent” amid signals from senior sources that Mr Cruddas’s future as co-treasurer was being immediately reviewed.

A Conservative spokesman insisted no donation resulting from any such offers had ever been accepted and said the party always abided by electoral law.

STATE CRIME: Brits to pay $3 Billion to be Spied Upon On Web, Emails, Texts

UK taxpayers will have to pay billions of dollars to have their web surfing, email exchange, text messaging, and even Skype calls, monitored. In addition to the hefty price-tag, innocent Brits risk being misidentified as terrorists.

The shocking data comes ahead of the plan announcement in the Queen’s speech, which is scheduled for May. Meanwhile, the Home Office, Britain’s interior ministry, said ministers were preparing to legislate “as soon as parliamentary time allows”.

More than $3 billion over the first decade alone is the extraordinary sum the British taxpayer will have to pay to be legally spied upon, reports the Daily Mail. In addition, annual running costs of roughly $320 million – $610 a minute – to store the data gathered from private communication.

Moreover, the above figures are based on 2009 estimates, which means the actual price, if it were estimated now, would be higher still.

British security agencies are pushing for a law, which would allow police to gain access to who you call, what sites you surf and how you play video games.

The government wants details about text messages, phone calls, email, visited websites, Facebook and Twitter exchanges and even online game chats.

The bill is aimed at finding potential terrorists and criminals in the name of protecting British citizens. However, Brits themselves might need protection from the side-effects caused by the new policy. According to the Information Commissioner’s Office – an independent watchdog upholding information rights in the public interest – once implemented, the bill may lead to innocents being wrongly identified as criminals. Or worse still – terrorists.

According to ICO internal documents uncovered by Tory MP Dominic Raab, this misidentification may lead to regular people being barred from flying along with terrorist suspects and criminals alike.

“Individuals may be wrongly identified, subject to identity fraud or there may just be a mistake. How do they put this right? Intelligence can be used to put people on no-fly lists, limit incomes or asset grabs by government agencies,”the documents read.

Rights activists fear potential abuse of the surveillance, as well as hacker threats to the database storing the personal details collected. It will be a responsibility of providers to store the data for two years. ICO documents cover this sensitive subject too, warning of the potential for abuse by service providers.

These revelations have caused an upheaval among British politicians, with both Tories and Liberal Democrats standing their ground as opponents of the policy, which was first suggested by the Labour government back in 2006. Six years on, MPs are raising their brows at the estimated cost of the project, in the wake of financial hardships that push UK government to make cuts elsewhere.

The plan is said to have been prepared by the Home Office in collaboration with home security service MI5, the foreign intelligence service MI6 and the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the body responsible for signals intelligence and information assurance for UK’s government and armed forces.

The plan is expected to be announced in May in the Queen’s Speech. It is a rewrite of a similar plan, which was developed by the Labour Party, but had been shelved in November 2009 due to lack of public support. Then in opposition the Conservatives criticized Labour’s “reckless” record on privacy.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Christine Channon -CHARGED WITH DRINK DRIVING

ONE of Devon’s most high-profile councillors is due in court today to face a drink-driving charge.

Conservative Christine Channon – portfolio holder for education and schools at Devon County Council – has been charged with driving under the influence of excess alcohol.

Channon, of Cricket Field Lane, Budleigh Salterton, was breathalysed by police officers following an alleged collision with a parked car.

The alleged incident took place on Saturday, February 25, at 6.40pm. Police were alerted by a member of the public.

Channon, who represents Budleigh Salterton, was subsequently arrested following a roadside breath test.

A police spokesman said: “The arrest followed a roadside breath test which was undertaken following a minor road traffic collision with the suspect’s vehicle and a parked car.”

She will appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court today, charged with driving with excess alcohol. The reading taken was 61mcg in 100ml of breath, police said. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Channon is one of Devon’s best known councillors. She is chair of the county’s Children’s Trust Board, the Devon Local Admissions Forum and is the Teachers Joint Consultative chair. She is also on the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education.

State Crime: 6 British Army Soldiers Killed in Bomb Blast as Death Toll Rises to 404

How much longer can/will our glorious, brave and well-respected (especially by the British people) continue to be manipulated and slain for the purpose of “liberal” “democratic” imperialism which has, as its  end goal, the securitisation of pipelines, opium production and geo-political Western influence (all done under the guise of fighting “terrorism” and instilling “democracy”) in an area which does not concern us and where we should not be? The alarming paradox is that the slavish-to-U.S.-and-Israel warmongering politicians –so eager to send other people’s children to die for their political adventures– nevertheless do not send their own children and family. The British Army, in light of these realities, is duty-bound (to the British people who do not want this “war”) and honour-bound (to the Higher Truth of Justice) to defy this alien government and return its men to guard Britannia and her people. The real war is here in Britain and the real terrorists are in SW1.

A simple posy clasped in his powerful hands, one soldier sums up a nation’s grief.

The burly squaddie fought back tears as he delivered his tribute to six comrades blown up by a Taliban bomb.

It is less than a month since members of the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment left for Afghanistan.

Yesterday the flowers were piling up outside their barracks at Warminster, Wiltshire, after one of the deadliest incidents in a decade of conflict.

It brought the British death toll in Afghanistan to 404.

With UK troops due to withdraw in 2014, the country remains a lawless shambles run by a corrupt regime, and its future looks bleak.

Many families are asking if it will be worth the sacrifice of their loved ones’ lives.

The six latest victims were killed in a catastrophic double blast when the huge bomb triggered a second explosion of ammunition inside their Warrior armoured vehicle.

This reduced the 40-ton Warrior to a ‘riddled shell’, meaning it was impossible for any of its occupants to survive.

It was the worst single episode for UK troops in Afghanistan since a Nimrod crash killed 14 in 2006, and the biggest-ever loss to insurgent action.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Penny Jackman -ASSAULT

A town hall by-election ended in violence when a 72-year-old candidate was slapped by a Conservative councillor.

UKIP member Mike Beggs was attending the count at Lymington Town Hall when he was struck by Tory Penny Jackman, a member of the district council and the New Forest National Park Authority.

Mr Beggs, of Lymington, said the blow broke the four-tooth bridge in his upper left jaw and had caused him sleepless nights.

Cllr Jackman took exception to Mr Beggs’s election leaflets, which mentioned the controversial attempt by the town council to evict Lymington cricket Club from the town centre ground it has occupied for 175 years.

The leaflets cited one meeting at which Cllr Jackman clashed with the cricketers and told a fellow councillor: “Let’s shut the buggers down.”

Mr Beggs said he was subjected to a “tirade” of abuse by Cllr Jackman at the count and was suddenly slapped in the face.

He added: “I have had a full apology from Cllr Jackman in which she is most apologetic. She has assured me it will not happen again.”

In a statement Cllr Jackman said: “I have known Mike Beggs for about 14 years since our children attended Hordle Walhampton School together plus various parties, clubs and other out-of-school gatherings over the years. I considered him a friend.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Roger Keeble -MISREPRESENTATION OF CONSTITUENTS

A PAIR of Brentwood councillors have failed to register a single problem on behalf of the people who voted for them since May last year.

Tory Alan Braid and independent Roger Keeble, elected to represent close to 3,500 people each in both Hutton Central and Tipps Cross respectively, have never recorded an inquiry through the internet-based Members’ Portal they were ordered to use in 2010.

The news that Messrs Braid and Keeble are just two of 15 elected representatives to have logged less than one inquiry per month with council officers will no doubt anger taxpayers who collectively pay £288,000 a year for councillors’ allowances.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Tony Brice -GIVEN CURFEW FOR BENEFIT FRAUD

A COUNCILLOR who pleaded guilty to three counts of benefit fraud totalling nearly £3,000 has been given a curfew and ordered to carry out unpaid community work.

But Tony Brice, 67, who represents the Lindley ward on Kirklees Council says he is determined to appeal and to retain his position on the council despite his Conservative group disowning him last year when the 21-strong group voted to expel him.

Magistrates in Halifax heard yesterday that Brice had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing in Dewsbury to obtaining £2,977.32 in benefits to which he was not entitled.

For the prosecution, Samantha Lawton, said the offences related to non-disclosure of information beginning in May 2010 regarding pension income, an HSBC Isa account and a savings account.

This was compounded in July that year by his failing to notify the authorities that there had been a change in his financial circumstances – namely he had been receiving a second pension of £67 a month for five months.

Then in October he failed to declare an increase in income from a pension which had risen from £392 to £442.

Ms Lawton said he had a number of opportunities to notify the council of the changes during 2010 but failed to do so.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Bob Bate -CHARGED WITH CHILD AND ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY OFFENCES

FORMER Wycombe District Councillor Bob Bate appeared before court this morning charged with child and animal pornography offences.

The former Hazlemere Parish Council chairman stands accused of four counts of distributing indecent images of children and one charge of possessing to show or distribute indecent photographs of children.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Terry Manning -ABUSE OF POSITION

TORBAY Council vice-chairman Terry Manning has been suspended for abusing his position as councillor.

A council standards hearing yesterday heard how he threatened to make trouble for a car recovery firm in a row over the release of his daughter-in-law’s car.

But today the Brixham Tory insisted he had only done ‘what any father would do’.

A hearing sub-committee of the standards board of the council unanimously agreed Cllr Manning, a Tory Brixham councillor, had twice breached the code of conduct of councillors.

It found Cllr Manning had tried to use his position to secure the release of a car belonging to his daughter-in-law after it had been impounded by police and also made threats to make trouble for the business.

Cllr Manning, who has represented St Marys for four years and as vice-chairman would normally become chairman later this year, was:

censured,

suspended from the council for two weeks and;

ordered to sign a letter of apology which will be written for him.

Suspension means he will not receive any allowances, cannot carry out any ward work or claim to be a member of the council. Censure is a reprimand which will go on his council record.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. David Parsons -FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES

A Labour councillor has called for the leader of Leicestershire County Council to resign after an expenses matter was referred to the Standards Committee.

David Parsons has been accused of not promptly repaying money that he owed for trips to Europe.

A county council report found debts were built up in 2007 but Mr Parsons has denied any wrongdoing.

Labour County Councillor Jewel Miah said Mr Parsons should stand down while investigations take place.

“Do I think he should resign? Yes I do,” said Mr Miah.

“If you’re facing such serious allegations…against you, it is very hard to concentrate on delivering the savings and the budgets we’re going to be debating in the next few months.”

A cross-party committee of councillors at the county council met on Monday to discuss a report into the allegations against Mr Parsons.

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Paul Woodall -GUILTY OF ASSAULTING HIS WIFE

A TORY councillor has pleaded guilty to assault after he threw a pudding bowl at his wife’s head during a meal-time row.

Paul Woodall’s wife Joanne was left with a one-inch cut to her forehead and blood pouring down her face after she spilled the bowl of food down him , Dudley Magistrates Court heard.

The 45-year-old  got into an argument with his wife when she began quizzing him about worries to do with losing his job at their Kingswinford home, in the West Midlands, on January 22.

After calling his wife a ‘slut’ and a ‘slag’, the councillor made comments about a previous relationship – which caused Mrs Woodhall to become angry and throw a TV remote at him.

The court heard how the dispute simmered throughout the lunch but reached boiling point when Cllr Woodhall brought out dessert.

“His wife of two years picked up her bowl as if to throw it at him – but he stopped her and the food went down his front,” said Mrs Sikhi Rai, prosecuting.

“He then threw his dish at her and it connected with her forehead. She immediately felt blood and could feel a hole in her head.”

(2012) Conservative Cllr. Bob Bibby -ARRESTED BY SERIOUS CRIME DIVISION

A former leader of a Greater Manchester council has said he has been left “devastated” after being arrested on suspicion of corruption.

Bury councillor Bob Bibby and another Conservative member were detained with three other men after a series of police raids on Tuesday.

He said he would continue as a councillor while the investigation took place, and will “fight in whatever way I have means to clear my name on this”.

The men have been bailed until April.

Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Crime Division executed warrants at addresses in Greater Manchester and Lancashire on Tuesday.

Officers also seized computers and documents from Bury Town Hall.

(2010) Conservative Gavin Barwell M.P. -INVESTIGATED FOR CAMPAIGN COSTS

Gavin Barwell is one of five MPs under scrutiny over election campaign costs following a joint investigation by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and Channel 4 News. Gavin Barwell is the newly-elected MP for Croydon Central. Until recently he was a key aide to Conservative deputy chairman and chief donor Lord Ashcroft (see Lord Ashcroft’s Who Knows Who map). Barwell is also former operations director of the party. The investigation discovered that Mr Barwell neglected to declare any payment for renting his office in Purley from the local Conservative Association. Electoral rules require candidates to declare rental charges, even if their party owns the property. This is to ensure fairness. The Conservative Association rents out the flat above the offices for a £1000 per month. Based on this, TBIJ and Channel 4 News estimated the missing charge could be as much £300 during the key campaign period – Mr Barwell did not comment on this figure.

He also appeared to claim a £500 printing refund without including the original charge, which may have further reduced his costs.

A Conservative Party Spokesman told Channel 4 News: “We have been made aware that there is an anomaly in Gavin Barwell’s return when the discrepancy was drawn to the attention of the Gavin Barwell’s agent, he realised his error at omitting two items of expenditure from the return and is taking the appropriate action.”

(2011) Conservative Lord Hanningfield -ARRESTED OVER HIS EXPENSES

Lord Hanningfield was arrested today over allegations he made fraudulent claims while leader of his local council.

The former Tory peer – who has already been jailed for fiddling his House of Lords expenses – was questioned over allegations he put in fraudulent claims while leader of Essex County Council, sources said.

A statement from Essex police said: “A 70-year-old man from the Chelmsford area has been arrested today … for fraud as part of an investigation into expenses claims at Essex County Council.”

The politician – who was born Paul White – has been released on bail until January 18 “pending further inquiries”.

Question marks over his claims via the local authority were first raised by the local Lib Dem opposition.

An Essex County Council spokesman said: “Essex County Council is continuing to assist Essex Police in the ongoing investigation, therefore it would be inappropriate for us to comment further.”

(2011) (Video) Conservative Party “Lord” Taylor -JAILED FOR 12 MONTHS FOR FRAUD

Lord Taylor of Warwick, the first black member of the House of Lords, defrauded the expenses system by more than £11,000.

The 58-year-old, dressed in black suit, blue tie and shirt, looked impassive as the sentence was passed at Southwark Crown Court.

Mr Justice Saunders said Taylor had ruined his life “not by one stupid action but by a protracted course of dishonesty”.

Taylor was found guilty in January this year for claiming in 2006 and 2007 that his main residence was in Oxford, when he actually owned just the one home in Ealing, west London.

He subsequently claimed an overnight allowance and travelling expenses to which he was not entitled.

Morley Borough Independents Exposed

 http://morleyboroughindependentsexposed.co.uk/

The so-called Morley Borough Independents are a party whose leaders are rejects from the mainstream parties. They claim to be ‘independent’ and free from party-political bias, yet they are nothing of the sort.

This party has shown that it is willing to plump any depths in order to keep its privileged position in local politics. The Morley Borough Independents are willing to lie to voters, claim credit for other people’s work, and do their utmost to ruin the lives of dedicated community campaigners who they have fallen out with.

All other political parties are exposed to close scrutiny and examination by rival parties and the electorate, but the Morley Borough Independents have managed to keep themselves from being exposed for what they are – until now.

This site will expose the truth about the so-called ‘Morley Borough Independents’.

Most of the information on this site has appeared in the local press, and where this is the case we have indicated this at the top of the page. With articles written by one of our correspondents, any claims made in the articles have been investigated and their authenticity verified. (2011) Conservative Cllr. Vince McMahan -THREE-MONTH SUSPENSION FOR DRINK DRIVING

A drunk magistrate who smashed into two cars while almost five times the limit has narrowly been spared jail.

Canterbury city councillor Vince McMahan was handed a three-month suspended sentence and banned from the road for two-and-half-years at a hearing on Monday.

The case was heard 65 miles away at City of Westminster magistrates court in London, after twice being transferred at late notice from courts in Folkestone and Medway.

Dad-of-three McMahan – who has revealed he won’t be standing for re-election – admitted drink driving after a session in the town.

The court heard he crashed into an oncoming Ford Focus in Western Avenue, Herne Bay, before skidding into a parked car belonging to city council officer Lyn McDaid.

The driver of the Ford – a 46-year-old woman from Herne Bay – was unhurt in the smash at 5.15pm on March 8.

McMahan, 50, of Plough Court , Broomfield , was arrested and failed a breathalyser test, giving a reading of 167 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath – the legal limit is just 35

(2011) Tory Peer Taylor- Guilty of “fiddling his parliamentary expenses” (Stealing from taxpayer).

He falsely claimed more than £11,200 from the public purse after nominating a home outside London which he neither owned nor lived in as his main residence. He lived in west London.

The barrister and former television producer who became Britain’s first black Conservative peer is the first parliamentarian to be tried and found guilty by a jury over the expenses scandal.

The Labour MPs David Chaytor and Eric Illsley both pleaded guilty.

Taylor, who has not paid back any of the money, is expected to hang on to his seat in the House of Lords.

The 58 year-old, who describes himself as a committed Christian, insisted he was only following advice on expenses from other peers but was found guilty of six counts of false accounting by a majority verdict at Southwark Crown Court.

He was given unconditional bail but faces up to two years in jail.

Outside court, his lawyer Eddie Tang said: “Lord Taylor has devoted 20 years of his life to public service. He is clearly devastated about the jury’s verdict.”

In 2006 and 2007, Taylor received £11,277 in expenses after claiming his main residence was in Oxford and that he had to travel back and forth each time he attended the House of Lords.

The house belonged to his nephew Robert Taylor, who had no idea his uncle had nominated the home he shared with Dr Tristram Wyatt, a fellow at Oxford University.

Mr Taylor said he was “shocked and quite angry” when he discovered that his uncle had been using the two-bedroom terrace property as a cover for his expenses. He said Taylor had only visited twice, never stayed overnight and had no financial claim on the house.

Taylor insisted he had been told he would be “crazy” not to claim for a house outside London, even if he didn’t live there.

He said he had been advised by Lord Colwyn, the deputy speaker of the House of Lords, who was summoned to court to give evidence. Lord Colwyn denied giving such advice and added: “I would not have suggested anything being claimed in the House of Lords that was in any way dishonest.”

Tory Peer Taylor Says Theft from Taxpayer is “perfectly acceptable”

Peers were routinely fiddling their expenses ‘day in and day out’ in the House of Lords, a court heard yesterday.

It was ‘common practice’ to make bogus claims for second home and mileage allowances – and to boost income by doing so was widely regarded as ‘perfectly acceptable’.

Tory peer Lord Taylor of Warwick was even told he would be ‘crazy’ not to charge for a second home outside London, it was alleged – even though his only home was in Ealing.

So the ex-barrister and one-time Tory Party election candidate filled in forms that purported to show his main home was in Oxfordshire, and that he had to travel to the capital and stay overnight on Parliamentary business.

But he had never stayed at the Oxfordshire address, and had no connection with it beyond the fact it belonged to his half nephew.

The alleged deception meant he was able to claim a total of £11,000 in subsistence and mileage allowances between March 2006 and October 2007.

Later he told a journalist his main home until 2007 was ‘the Taylor family home’ in Solihull, where his elderly mother lived. But she died in 2001 and the house was sold soon afterwards, the court heard.

Lord Taylor, who pleaded not guilty to six counts of false accounting, did not deny he had made the claims – but insisted he had not done so dishonestly.

(2011) Conservative Lord Taylor -on trial over £11,000 expenses ‘fraud’

A Tory peer is to go on trial today accused of dishonestly claiming more than £11,000 on House of Lords expenses.

Lord Taylor of Warwick is accused of registering an Oxford property lived in by a distant relative as his main residence so that he could claim expenses on his own home in London.

It meant that the 58-year-old barrister was able to bill the taxpayer for overnight subsistence and mileage only available to those living outside London, when he actually lived in capital, it is alleged.

The peer, whose full name is full name John David Beckett Taylor, faces six counts of false accounting under the 1968 Theft Act for claims amounting to £11,277 between 2006 and 2007. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

His trial is to begin this morning at Southwark Crown Court.

Lord Taylor became the first black Conservative peer when he was appointed to the Lords in 1996.

MP ‘reports six colleagues to police over expenses’

The MPs are thought to include a former Labour cabinet minister, two Labour MPs, two Conservatives and a Liberal Democrat.

The allegations are said to relate to inflated claims for household expenditure such as council tax, maintenance and utility bills.

According to the Sunday Times, the allegations have been made by a Labour MP, who represents a northern constituency, who passed details of alleged wrongdoing to police because he believes he was unfairly singled out for investigation over his own allowances.

If confirmed, it would be the first time since the expenses scandal erupted in 2009 that an MP has made a complaint to police about fellow members of the Commons.

Scotland Yard said on Saturday that “a small number” of parliamentary expenses cases remain under consideration by a panel of detectives and prosecutors, but was unable to say whether any fresh cases had been brought to their attention recently.

How the Unelected Zionist Lobby Shapes U.K. Politics

The wealthy Jewish lobby in Britain working under the title of the Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) has been tipped as the Conservative Party’s paymaster.

The CFI as described by British political analysts is beyond doubt the most well- connected and probably the best funded of all Westminster lobbying groups. It works in support of the interests of the Israeli regime.

The CFI’s finances may be legal but they are hardly transparent as the lobbying group is an unincorporated association. This is how the British media report about CFI’s financial transactions.

The register of MPs’ interests shows that CFI board members and their businesses gave the Conservatives over 2 million pounds in the last 8 years.

The reports also say more than 30,000 pound from CFI members went to campaign funds of the members of Prime Minister David Cameron’s team when he was first elected as the party leader in2005.

Also in 2005, Cameron himself had received 15,000 pound from a pro-Israeli lobby facilitator. The facilitator had also donated 50,000 pounds to the Conservative Central Office.

“Donations from all CFI members and their businesses to the Conservative Party of Britain have topped over 10 million pounds over the past 8 years”, according to reliable sources inside the UK.

Here’s an example of how the pro-Israeli lobby works in the UK.

After the 22-day Israeli war on the Gaza Strip a fact-finding team was appointed to conduct an inquiry into the war and identify the culprits.

A few weeks since the UN was to vote on a resolution following judge Goldstone’s report who condemned Israel for abusing human rights in Gaza, the CFI ran up to now foreign secretary William Hague office and after consulting with David Cameron, he gave them this quote:

“Unless the draft resolution is redrafted to reflect the role that Hamas played in starting the conflict we would recommend that the British government vote to reject the resolution”.

But, it was under former Prime Minister Tony Blair that the Israel lobby first acquired real influence in government.
Former chairman of the Labour friends of Israel John Mandelson boasted:

“Zionism is pervasive in new Labour, it’s automatic that Blair will come to Labour friends of Israel’s meetings”.

Shortly before Blair became Labour party leader in 1994 he met Michael Levy the pop music millionaire at a social event arranged by the Israeli embassy. They became friends, played tennis and Levy became Blair’s fundraiser. It’s estimated that he raised almost 15 million pounds for Labour before the row over cash for peerages.

When Tony Blair became prime minister in 1997, he awarded Michael Levy a life peerage and made him his special envoy to the Middle East, but because Levy was unpaid and working directly to the prime minister, what he negotiated between the Israeli entity and Arabs on behalf of Britain was kept secret.

Expenses scandal: three face suspension from House of Lords

Three peers investigated over their expenses claims face suspension from the House of Lords and repayment of tens of thousands of pounds, The Sunday Telegraph has learned

The trio – two Labour peers and a cross-bencher – are expected to be officially recommended for censure in a statement tomorrow by the House of Lords authorities.

Baroness Uddin, a Labour peer and the first Muslim woman to be appointed to the upper house, is set to be suspended from the Lords for between a year and 18 months, and has agreed to pay back £125,000 in wrongly claimed expenses.

Lord Paul, another Labour peer and a major party donor, has been recommended for a suspension of between four and six months and has agreed to pay back £40,000.

Lord Bhatia, who sits as a cross-bencher but has also donated money to Labour, faces a ban of between six and 12 months and is to repay voluntarily £27,000.

All three were investigated by the subcommittee on Lords’ interests, a powerful body in the upper house chaired by Baroness Manningham-Buller, the former head of MI5. Lord Paul and Lady Uddin were referred to the committee after criminal investigations into their cases were dropped.

Last night none of the trio was prepared to comment on the results of the investigation and its recommendations on punishments – which will now be passed to the House of Lords to vote on. However, a source close to the investigation said: “This looks extremely serious for them.”

(2010) Conservative M.P. Bill Wiggin -PARASITE TO APOLOGISE AND REPAY £4, 294 STOLEN FROM TAXPAYER

Bill Wiggin was also told by Parliament’s sleaze watchdog to say sorry for wrongly designating his second home in London as his main home.

He was chastised by the Standards and Privileges Committee for his “serious” breaches of the rules and his “disappointing” failure to co-operate with the inquiry by providing invoices.

But Mr Wiggin, a farmer who was in the year above David Cameron at Eton, also faces losing his job in the Whips’ Office and may even have the party whip withdrawn.

When The Daily Telegraph first reported his questionable claims in May 2009, the Conservative leader warned he would be “out of the door” if he had claimed money to which he was not entitled.

Jim Miller, a constituent of Mr Wiggin who made the official complaint about him, said: “I’m going to write to Mr Cameron asking him if he is a man of his word.

“Conservatives here voted for Bill Wiggin in May on the basis that he’d been given a clean bill of health by David Cameron. I think this is a matter of the Prime Minister’s word.”

Mr Wiggin, who once worked in the foreign exchange department of Commerzbank, has been the Tory MP for Leominster in Herefordshire since 2001.

(2010) Conservatice Cllr. Jamshed Khan -GUILTY OF VOTE RIGGING

Five Conservative Party supporters in Bradford, including two former councillors, have been jailed for a combined total of nearly eight years for attempting to rig the voting system in the run-up to a General Election.

Former Tory councillors Reis Khan and Jamshed Khan, together with Mohammed Sultan, Mohammed Rafiq and Alyas Khan conspired in a plot to use fraudulent postal votes with the aim of getting “their man”, Haroon Rashid, elected to the marginal Bradford West seat in the 2005 General Election.

Mr Rashid, who was beaten by 3,026 votes by winning candidate Labour’s Marsha Singh, was cleared in February last year of conspiring to defraud Bradford Council’s registration officer over applications to vote by post.

But yesterday at Leeds Crown Court five other men were imprisoned for electoral offences that, in Judge Robert Bartfield’s view, threatened to “contaminate” the country’s democratic foundations and render those principles “worthless.”

Jamshed Khan, 65, of Russell Street, and Reis Khan, 40, of Whetley Hill, both received 21-month prison sentences, as did Mohammed Sultan, 52, of Toller Lane, and Mohammed Rafiq, 70, of Cecil Avenue, Great Horton.

Alyas Khan, 51, of Hilton Road, who was described in court as a treasurer for the local Conservative association, was given a reduced prison sentence of 11 months in recognition of his guilty plea.

Addressing the conspirators directly, Judge Bartfield said: “Each of you joined an organised campaign to rig the voting system so as to enable false votes to be cast.”

He said the “harvesting” of votes took various different forms, including the registration of people as voters who in some cases did not even exist, the submission of Postal Voting Applications for people who no longer lived at premises and the use of empty premises as false addresses.

Judge Bartfield said the five conspirators had been involved in 213 false postal vote applications as part of a “greater enterprise” involving more than 900 false applications from at least 50 different authors in the run up to the 2005 election.

Judge Bartfield said: “If the press had not intervened in May 2005, the scheme would have continued to the submission of the votes themselves. It was a conspiracy cut off before its serious consequence could be achieved.”

The Judge told Rafiq he should be “ashamed of himself” for “inducing” his 18-year-old daughter to assist him in filling out some of the 114 postal vote applications he forged.

In mitigation, legal representatives for the five men put forward a range of arguments as to why sentences should be reduced or suspended, including previous good character and their roles as heads of their respective families and the fact the case had taken five years, with the “exceptional delay” putting massive strain on the men.

(2010) Conservative Party Cllr. Mark Daley -RESIGNS OVER SEXUAL EMAILS

Hat-tip: iamdisgustedatrbkc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B4W1BO2jAc http://barryphelps.posterous.com/

Two Tory councillors have resigned after it emerged inappropriate emails had been sent using the council’s email system.

Former Kensington and Chelsea mayor Councillor Barry Phelps fired off a series of emails to Councillor Mark Daley, displaying black and white images of young boys with sexually suggestive captions added by Mr Phelps.

Both handed in their resignations on Monday.

The emails were reported to the council by Justin Downes, leader of the Residents First campaign group, who had been alerted by a concerned resident.

“These were innocent images and Councillor Phelps has created sexual overtones to them,” Mr Downes said.

“I think it’s absolutely right for them to go when the council proclaims itself as a council which is absolutely intolerant of child abuse.

(2010) Conservative Party M.P. Mark Reckless: ‘too drunk to vote’

A Kent MP has apologised for being drunk in the House of Commons and missing a vote on the Budget.

Mark Reckless said he did not feel it was appropriate to take part in the vote in the early hours of Wednesday because of the amount he had drunk.

The Conservative MP for Rochester and Strood told BBC Radio Kent: “I made a mistake. I’m really sorry about it.”

Labour MP Hazel Blears said she returned to the library after it became “a bit lively” on the terrace.

Revealed: The dirty past of the former tax exile who’s the new Tory Treasurer

Every spring, thousands of beautiful swans fly to the spectacular Coeur d’Alene River in Idaho in their annual migration.

In the wetlands of the lower river, they feast on its verdant plants. Their arrival in this sacred Native American homeland is one of the marvels of nature and draws ornithologists from all over the world.

But some of these birds never make it out of the marshes again because their feeding grounds have been poisoned by pollution from a huge lead smelting plant.

Observers report the pitiful sight of poisoned birds gasping for breath and too weak to take flight.

At least 150 carcasses are found in the wetlands each year. And it is not only animals that are paying a heavy price for the fallout from the industry which has blighted this rural location.

Local children have also suffered acute respiratory health problems as a result of what is now regarded as one of the worst industrial pollution scandals in America.

Ask people who they blame for the problem, and you will be pointed to one man. David Rowland is not well-known, but he is the man David Cameron appointed this month as Tory Party Treasurer.

He takes up the post in October.

Though he was not involved with the company at the time the pollution occurred, residents in Idaho claim that after Rowland bought the firm which owned the smelting plant, he deprived the environmental clean-up operation in their area of vital funds, and thereby prolonged the suffering of their community.

Indeed, Rowland has been accused of ‘looting’ tens of millions of dollars that should have been destined for the clean-up operation by diverting funds into a property deal in New Zealand.

The pollution was caused by a smelting factory at Bunker Hill which for six decades spewed contaminated smoke into the air, poisoning surrounding communities, and causing serious damage to the health of hundreds of children.

Eventually the smelter was closed down, and it was eight years later that David Rowland acquired Gulf Resources (the firm which owned the plant) and subsequently became president and chief executive.

At that point, he became responsible for the massive clean-up operation ordered by the American authorities, and expected to cost $100 million.

Despite this, in the years that followed Rowland was accused of transferring the company’s assets overseas and depriving former employees of their rightful pension and health insurance entitlements, of which more later

The 300th death of a British Youngster Brought about by -LIB-LAB-CON LIES

In light of this sickening portrayal: http://www.channel4.com/news/articles/world/asia_pacific/300th+british+soldier+killed+in+afghanistan+war/3686457

…we should all consider this: http://eotp.org/2010/06/15/lib-lab-con-justification-for-afghanistan-war-is-“rubbish”-says-former-uk-counterterrorism-chief/

These warmongers of the Lib-Lab-Con ought to hang their heads in shame. Still, none of these 300 are their innocent children, are they?  Perhaps then these warmongers are beyond reproach.

Government spends £17,500 on wine

More than £17,500 has been spent topping up the government wine cellar since the election, it has emerged.

It brings the total value of fine wine stored for VIP functions to £864,000, a Commons answer by Foreign Office minister Henry Bellingham revealed.

Labour’s Tom Watson said the Tory-Lib Dem coalition should sell the wine to boost the public finances, quoting Tory slogan “we’re all in this together”.

The government says it buys wine young to ensure the best value for taxpayers.

Last year, Liberal Democrat MP Don Foster accused the then Labour government of “living way beyond their means” after ministers revealed 39,500 bottles of wine, spirits and liqueurs worth around £792,000 were in storage.

Conservative MP Mr Bellingham’s written answer revealed that Government Hospitality (GH), the branch of the Foreign Office which manages the cellar, had spent £17,698 on new stock since 6 May.

(2006) Blast from the Past: Prime Minster David Cameron -TERRORIST APOLOGIST

David Cameron has made another decisive break with the Conservative Party’s past by admitting that Margaret Thatcher had been wrong to brand Nelson Mandela’s African National Congress (ANC) “terrorists” during the struggle against apartheid.

The Tory leader, who met Mr Mandela during a visit to South Africa last week, said:

“The mistakes my party made in the past with respect to relations with the ANC and sanctions on South Africa make it all the more important to listen now. The fact that there is so much to celebrate in the new South Africa is not in spite of Mandela and the ANC, it is because of them – and we Conservatives should say so clearly today.”

Writing in The Observer, Mr Cameron praised the former South African president as “one of the greatest men alive” and said his overwhelming impression was “not how violent the armed struggle or Soweto uprisings were, but how restrained”.

Lib-Lab-Con Justification for Afghanistan War is “Rubbish” Says Former UK Counterterrorism Chief

US plans to turn the course of the Afghan war with a large-scale operation to secure Kandahar risk driving more people into the arms of the insurgents, a senior United Nations official has warned.

Richard Barrett, who heads a UN team tracking the Taliban and al-Qaeda, also said it was nonsense to suggest the war in Afghanistan was protecting Britain from terrorism.

The critique of western strategy delivered by Mr Barrett, a former UK counter-terrorism chief, will sharpen the dilemma faced by David Cameron, the prime minister. The British government wants to reconcile its commitment to Afghanistan with its pledges to deal with a large budget deficit.

Mr Barrett’s comments underline the concerns shared by many western and UN officials about the counter-insurgency strategy of General Stanley McChrystal, the Nato commander in Afghanistan. The scale and complexity of the approach was underlined last week when Gen McChrystal announced a delay in the planned operation to secure Kandahar city, the Taliban’s spiritual home.

Gen McChrystal said Nato would take a “more deliberate” approach towards Kandahar because it was learning lessons from its operation in the town of Marjah, the Taliban stronghold in central Helmand that was cleared by alliance troops in February.

But Mr Barrett warned that deploying more troops risked sparking more conflict in previously calm areas. “Putting more troops in is in danger of making things worse . . . If you push troops into these areas, then clearly they are no longer going to be quiet,” he said. “This idea that they can clear up Kandahar, take control of Kandahar, and that would really weaken the Taliban, I think it’s mistaken.

“The US cannot be seen to lose a big, well advertised operation as planned for Kandahar,” he said. “It would be very difficult to recover from such a setback . . . It’s altogether on a different scale from Marjah. Gen McChrystal has to make the objectives achievable without looking as if he has already retreated from his original plan because it was beyond him. I think he got a bit carried away and over-optimistic, ambitious.”

Mr Barrett noted that Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, had been “notably lukewarm about the whole Kandahar thing”.

US officials hope the Kandahar operation will force the Taliban on to the defensive, allowing Mr Karzai to negotiate some form of political settlement that would allow an exit for the 140,000 western troops now in the country.

But Mr Barrett said Afghanistan’s western allies lacked a coherent approach for ending the conflict. “I don’t think western states have a clear policy; they don’t know, they just don’t know, what to do,” he said.

Mr Barrett, who formerly headed counter-terrorism for the Secret Intelligence Service, dismissed the argument advanced by British ministers that the presence of 9,500 British troops in Afghanistan would reduce the threat to the UK. “That’s complete rubbish. I’ve never heard such nonsense,” he said, warning that the presence of foreign troops risked inflaming anti-western sentiment among British Muslim communities.

“I’m quite sure if there were no foreign troops in Afghanistan there’d be less agitation in Leeds, or wherever, about Pakistanis extremely upset, or suspicious about what western intentions are in Afghanistan and Pakistan.”

The British “Democratic” System: Does this damage the Morale of British Troops, General?

Failing to vote in the general election would damage the morale of British troops, according to the former head of the Army.

General Sir Richard Dannatt has spoken of his concern that the abuse of MPs expenses will lead to voter apathy and warned that this is not what men and women “risking life and limb in the national interest” in Afghanistan would want.

He said it was important that every member of the electorate should cast a vote and show that the sacrifices made in Afghanistan are supported by everyone at home.

Perhaps general Dannat would care to look at the system he so whimsically champions?

Are you and the British Army glad to be defending this grotesque monstrosity that masquerades as “democracy”?

“We are awaiting comprehensive figures from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), who are collating figures on a rolling basis from the force SPOC officers across the UK of all police investigations currently being carried out relating to cases of electoral malpractice”

“most shambolic, incompetent and fraudulent elections Britain has ever witnessed.”

“How £100k ‘Modern Militant’ presided over voting shambles”

The Parasite is not so Easily Removed from the Back of the People…

Above: M.P.s are not so tolerant of interlopers (those appointed to give the taxpayer justice) muscling in on their patch.

A senior official tasked with cleaning up the Westminster’s expenses system, has said he left the post “for the sake of my health and sanity” amid a backlash from some MPs.

Nigel Gooding has left his job as operations director of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) following a series of rows with MPs, some of whom have been left up to £20,000 worse off under new stricter rules.

The 46-year-old civil servant was employed on a six-month contract to launch IPSA and implement cuts including an end to public subsidies on lavish second homes and first-class train trips

However, he has stood down from his role, telling the Mail on Sunday: “I have left the job for the sake of my health and sanity.”

IPSA was forced to erect a sign at its Commons offices warning MPs: ‘We will not tolerate abuse of staff.’

Many MPs have complained about IPSA’s handling of their expenses and the implementation of the new rules.

Paul Farrelly, a Labour MP, sent a complaint to Mr Gooding and said the new system was “prehistoric, amateurish, self-defeating and bureaucracy gone mad”.

He wrote: “I have been asked for a copy of my passport or birth certificate to prove my date of birth. Why that is necessary, I do not know. More importantly, as I have used my overdraft limit, my mortgage payment will bounce, causing me embarrassment and further charges You could easily have saved us all this aggravation.”

Mr Gooding’s previous jobs included launching the National Rail Enquiries service and the flu pandemic hot line.

M.P.s Vs Army: General Sir David Richards warns of morale crisis among troops

With scenes like the one above (left) being explained by the image above (right) –in addition to the British Army’s substandard equipment, vehicles and armour– we can’t think why there is a “morale crisis”? Still, the (“government”) who pays the piper calls the tune –and this piper is seldom short of morale.

The poor quality of soldiers’ lives when they return home from conflict has hit morale and risks undermining the war in Afghanistan, the head of the Army has warned.

n a leaked draft memo to ministers, General Sir David Richards said that budget cuts to the military at home were having a “cumulative and corrosive effect” on soldiers and their families.

He said that the refocusing of military effort on Afghanistan was welcome, with soldiers now feeling “well supported and resourced” in theatre.

But the conditions they experienced when they returned home were below par and could eventually impact on the operation itself, he warned.

“As Chief of the General Staff, I register an early concern about the impact on morale, the potentially severe downstream impact on retention, and our ability to sustain the campaign in the long term,” he wrote.

His comments echo those made by his predecessor General Sir Richard Dannatt, who said that many families and marriages were falling victim to the “relentless” pace of operations and that goodwill was being stretched to the limit.

Abject Priorities: most of Army’s armoured vehicles in Afghanistan ‘not fit for purpose’

Abject priories, indeed:

While our troops are away fighting capitalists’ wars the government, in the pay of said capitalists, spends 9.1 BILLION of Foreign Aid to pay countries such as China (one of the best economies in the world), India (that has a space programme), and to Zimbabwe and South Africa (who both have corrupt neo-communist “governments” that actively turn a blind eye to the slaughter of innocent White farmers).

So, how does the British Army feel about its soldiers being maiamed and killed by inadequate equipment and substandard vehicles while the State it represents has a government that squanders 9.1 BILLION to propping up corrupt African  regimes and sponsoring sub-continental space programmes?

Food for thought, wouldn’t you say, British Army?

More than half of the Army’s armoured vehicles in Afghanistan are not “fit for purpose”, new figures have shown.

Many are out of action being repaired or refurbished after spending time in the punishing desert conditions.

The stock of unuseable vehicles include 180 Mastiffs and Ridgbacks which were sent to the country to protect servicemen and women from the growing threat of sophisticated improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

There are just 358 of a total 653 Snatch Land Rovers in working condition. They were previously used on patrols around Helmand Province but were confined to use on military bases after a public outcry over IED deaths of those travelling in them.

The Army now has 271 six-wheel, mine-resistant Mastiff troop-carriers but only 134 are rated “fit for purpose”. Just 73 of the 118 lighter Ridgbacks are currently in service, according to figures from the Ministry of Defence.

Liberal Democrat defence spokesman Willie Rennie said that they undermined the Government’s claim that troops in theatre now have all the armoured vehicles they need to keep them safe.

“We must make sure they have the kit they need to do their job as safely as possible. Promises are not enough – Gordon Brown has to deliver,” he said.

(2010) MPs and Peer to Stand Trial as would the Common Man

Three former Labour MPs and a Conservative peer are to face criminal trials for alleged expenses fraud after a judge threw out their attempts to claim parliamentary privilege.

Elliot Morley, David Chaytor, Jim Devine and Lord Hanningfield had argued that they could not be tried in court because of a 300-year-old law exempting MPs and Lords from prosecution over proceedings in parliament.

But Mr Justice Saunders rejected their application, saying there was “no logical, practical, moral or legal justification” for expenses claims being covered by privilege.

However, the four men have announced they will appeal against the decision, meaning the taxpayer will face a bill running into six figures for another hearing.

The judge granted permission for the men to take their case to the Court of Appeal for a hearing which is likely to take place later in the summer.

If their appeal is unsuccessful they will face juries at Southwark Crown Court in south London on charges of false accounting in separate trials which could begin before the end of this year.

Yet MORE Corruption: MPs’ foreign visit rules breached

Hundreds of breaches of parliamentary rules by MPs who accepted free overseas trips from foreign governments have been uncovered by a BBC investigation.

More than 20 MPs broke rules on declaring hospitality in questions or debates after visiting locations such as the Maldives, Cyprus and Gibraltar.

The MPs – from Labour, the Tories and the Lib Dems – breached parliamentary regulations on more than 400 occasions.

One former standards watchdog says it shows MPs cannot regulate themselves.

(2010) Conservative M.P. Andrew Mitchell -MILLIONAIRE PARASITE CHARGES TAXPAYER 13p FOR TIPEX

A wealthy Conservative MP has been criticised for claiming 13p for Tipp-Ex on his parliamentary expenses.

Andrew Mitchell, the Shadow Secretary for International Development, also submitted a 45p invoice for a stick of glue.

The former investment banker is regarded as one of the richest MPs at Westminster. A descendant of the founders of the El Vino wine merchants, he lives in a £2million house in Islington, North London.

The two claims form part of the £26,500 Mr Mitchell has sought to recoup in expenses since May last year. They appear in an online register of expenses submitted by senior Tories.

Three MPs and one peer to be charged over expenses

Three Labour MPs and one Tory peer will face criminal charges over their expenses, Director of Public Prosecutions Keir Starmer has said.

MPs Elliot Morley, Jim Devine, David Chaytor and Lord Hanningfield will be charged under the Theft Act.

All four have said they denied any charges and would defend their positions robustly.

Revelations about MPs’ expenses emerged in May last year with the police going on to investigate a handful of cases.

Mr Starmer said there was “insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of a conviction” in the case of Labour peer Lord Clarke but said a sixth case remains under police investigation.

(2010) Conservative Leader David Cameron M.P. -HAS DONE DRUGS

David Cameron narrowly avoided being expelled from Eton College when he was involved in the school’s worst-ever drugs scandal, it has been revealed.

Police were called in and seven pupils were thrown out after boys were caught dealing in and smoking cannabis.

Reaction: Cameron refuses to confirm cannabis allegations

The future Tory leader – who until now has refused to say if he took drugs – was caught after another pupil informed on him. Cameron, who at the time was just 15, was hauled in by the headmaster, who forced him to admit he had smoked cannabis.

The furious master punished him by putting him under the top public school’s equivalent of house arrest by being ‘gated’.

But this did not stop Cameron’s drug- taking, according to a book to be serialised exclusively in The Mail on Sunday next month. It says he carried on smoking cannabis when he went to Oxford.

The disclosures in the book – Cameron, The Rise Of The New Conservative – are bound to reopen the debate about drugs policies in Britain.

If he wins the next General Election, Mr Cameron will be the first Prime Minister to have admitted taking drugs.

(2010) Brother of Conservative M.P. George Osborne ‘supplied prescription drugs to cocaine addict prostitute’

The younger brother of Shadow Chancellor George Osborne was today accused of supplying prescription drugs to a prostitute friend addicted to cocaine.

Dr Adam Osborne, 33, tried to use a false name to get the drugs, a General Medical Council hearing in London was told.

His friend had turned to him for help to combat her cocaine-related hallucinations, the panel was told.

The hearing was told he had been ‘misleading and dishonest’.

Under GMC regulations doctors can only prescribe for family and friends in emergencies.

Dr Osborne, who faces being struck off, admits prescribing drugs for a friend, family member and girlfriend but denies inappropriate conduct.

The case will be a huge embarrassment to the shadow chancellor as well as his parents Sir Peter and Lady Osborne who live in Notting Hill.

(2010) Conservative Cllr. Eddie Wake -EXPELLED FOR COMMENTS ABOUT RAPE

A Sunderland city councillor has been expelled from his party after he made offensive comments about rape at a meeting.

Conservative party chiefs said comments by Washington South member Eddie Wake, 56, at the end of a meeting with police, were “totally unacceptable”.

Senior party officials expelled him from the Conservative group on Monday.

Mr Wake said he intended to stay on as a councillor and regretted his “lapse of judgement”.

At least three councillors reported Mr Wake to his party and to Sunderland Council’s standards committee, after he cracked what was described as a “sick joke” at the close of a recent meeting with police about a rape prevention campaign.

“Anti-’Fascist’”(Communist) Thugs Threaten the Lives of Families of Dead Soldiers

Let us firstly remind ourselves of a few key figures who support communist thugs such as Unite Against “Fascism”. Communist sympathisers include:

David Cameron (Tory)       Mike Hancock (Libs)         Peter Hain (Labour)

Might they be supporting communist agitators as splendid opportunistic ruse to employ the work of a political militia (U.A.F.) that will, and has, actively smash the opposition to the corrupt old-gang Lib-Lab-Con-men? Many, Many politicians support this terror group. Look into it for yourselves; we will not supply the link to an anti-democratic, hate-filled organisation.

A mother-of-four has been subjected to death threats after starting a campaign to stop a protest march by Muslim hardliners through Wootton Bassett.

Jo Cleary, from Broomfield, Herne Bay, set up a Facebook site calling for extremist leader Anjem Choudary and his followers to be barred from carrying coffins through the town where residents line the streets to mourn as the bodies of slain service personnel arriving back in the UK.

Choudary, who was born in Welling, Bexley, leads the group Islam4UK which says its march would symbolise Muslims killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

More than 700,000 people have signed up to Mrs Cleary’s campaign – but in the last few days she has found herself on the end of abuse and threats to her life over the internet.

Other hate-filled messages have been directed at the grieving families of British soldiers killed in action.

It is believed the messages have been sent by self-styled ‘anti-fascists’ and are not the work of any ethnic or religious group.

The death threats have also been reported to the police, who have offered her protection.

Mrs Cleary, 43, said: “I am absolutely livid at these threats but they will not stop my campaign.

“I have been branded as a BNP member – which I most certainly not – and my life has been threatened in the most abusive language.

“There have even been threats made to the families of those who have given their lives for this country. It is beyond belief – these are horrific emails with vile, vile threats.”

The Truth is Out: British Army Being Used as Capitalists’ Mercenaries to Secure Profit

About 25 countries have promised to send more troops to Afghanistan in response to President Obama’s call for extra support from Nato members. But France and Germany, the two European powers who could make a real difference, remain as hesitant as ever.

French and German leaders now face a painful choice. Should they finally embrace Nato’s efforts in Afghanistan more wholeheartedly – which would mean accepting significantly more human and material sacrifices? Or should they or conclude that the war has already been lost, or that “success” does not merit the cost, and abandon the mission altogether?

For their own good, they should choose the first option. They should remember that unlike the war in Iraq, which they strongly opposed from the outset, all Nato member states, including themselves, unanimously and unambiguously sanctioned the war effort in Afghanistan in 2001. But aside from the need to fulfil their alliance duties – and in fact even more important – they have clear national interests at stake in this strategically located central Asian state.

This is not about just about pre-empting future terrorist attacks on European capitals by stopping the Taliban from retaking the country. At stake in Afghanistan is the survival of the transatlantic alliance, Europe’s energy security and independence, and whether the deepening ties between Europe – especially Germany – and Russia, will eventually lead to the western integration of Russia, or instead, to it gaining a stranglehold over European energy security. In Afghanistan all three issues are interlinked. This fact remains largely ignored.

(2009) Conservative Party -GANG OF THIEVES WHO STOLE £250, 000 FROM TAXPAYER

Senior tories are to return a further £24,800 in overpaid expenses claims, bringing the total repayments by the Shadow Cabinet to more than £70,000. Thirteen members of David Cameron’s top team are to pay back more claims identified as excessive by Sir Thomas Legg’s audit of MPs’ allowances over the past five years.

Between them, they are meeting £24,782.18 demanded of them by Sir Thomas in his final batch of letters to MPs this week. The repayments are in addition to £15,318.16 they had already returned because of his audit. The Conservative frontbenchers have also returned at least £30,000 deemed as unacceptable by an internal party investigation. Conservative MPs have now paid back more than £250,000 in claims since the expenses scandal blew up in May.

Last night, the party said it was “leading the way” on transparency of expenses claims and challenged Labour to follow its lead and disclose cabinet members’ repayments. Liam Fox, the shadow Defence Secretary, was presented with the biggest new bill, being required to return £7,984.28 in mortgage interest, maintenance and council-tax claims on his second home. His total repayment to the taxpayer now stands at £12,279.20.

(2009) Tory Treasurer Michael Spenser $25 Million Fine for His Crooked Company

The SEC imposed the heavy fine on Icap’s north America division for a series of lax controls, the most serious of which was disseminating “false trade information into the marketplace in order to attract customer attention to its screens and encourage actual trading by these customers”.

As part of the settlement, the regulator demanded the suspension of five brokers for “aiding and abetting the firm’s fraudulent conduct” and two senior executives for “failing reasonably to supervise the brokers”. The suspensions will start immediately and last for three months.

Poet laureate attacks Afghanistan war in Christmas poem

Carol Ann Duffy, the poet laureate, has launched a scathing attack on MPs “milking” expenses, the conflict in Afghanistan and the state of modern Britain in a grim version of the Christmas song, The Twelve Days of Christmas.

n the poem, Duffy also criticised the war, bankers’ bonuses, celebrity culture and the slow response to the threat of global warming.

But it is the war, which has claimed the lives of 236 British soldiers – almost half of them this year – that she chose to dwell on.

The first verse pictures a soldier, spied upon by a “buzzard on a branch” rather than a homely partridge in a pear tree, who is looking at a photograph of his children. It implies he will soon be dead.

Duffy returns to the subject with dreadful repetition in the ninth verse – as if to underline the way the news has been constantly punctured with reports of those killed.

She focuses on the women whose lives have been torn apart by the death of a husband or boyfriend.

“But the dead soldier’s lady does not dance,” begins the ninth verse, which traditionally celebrates “Nine ladies dancing”.

She goes on to list other women in today’s Britain who do not dance, including “the honour killing lady”, “the lady in the filthy hospital ward” and “the lady with the pit bull terrier”.

Fraud charges in MPs’ expenses row move step closer as police send four files to prosecutors

Up to four MPs and peers are to face fraud charges over the expenses scandal by early in the New Year, it emerged today.

In a move which shook through the political establishment, detectives have referred case files on four parliamentarians to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Police believe there is sufficient evidence to bring criminal charges in each of the cases, sources said.

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer QC, is expected to rubber stamp charges against the politicians by February.

Such a development would result in the highly embarrassing spectacle of MPs and peers appearing in court before next May’s expected General Election.

The politicians could face charges of fraud or false accounting, with maximum penalties of ten or seven years. There was no official word today on which cases had been sent to the CPS.

However it is known that police believe there is strong evidence against Labour MPs Elliot Morley and David Chaytor, and Labour peer Baroness Uddin, and that such cases were likely to be in the first batch of files to be considered by prosecution lawyers.

Other politicians believed to be under police investigation include Labour MP Jim Devine, Lord Hanningfield and Lord Clarke of Hampstead.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: ‘The Metropolitan Police Service has today delivered four main files of evidence relating to parliamentary expenses to the Crown Prosecution Service.

‘The files relate to four people, from both the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and will now be subject to CPS consideration on whether there should be any charges.

‘A small number of cases remain under investigation.’

(2009) Conservative M.P. David Curry -PARASITE

David Curry, the MP who heads the committee responsible for policing Commons expenses, has claimed almost £30,000 for a second home that his wife has banned him from staying in, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.

After learning of the Telegraph investigation, David Curry resigned as chairman of the Parliamentary Standards and Privileges Committee and now faces a formal inquiry into his claims.

The Conservative MP is accused of having an affair with a headmistress in his Yorkshire constituency and using a taxpayer-funded cottage to meet his lover.

A Telegraph investigation has learned that four years ago, after discovering the affair, Mr Curry’s French wife Anne demanded that he does not stay at the Yorkshire property as a condition of the couple’s reconciliation.

However, the former Conservative minister has continued claiming thousands of pounds a year for the house – which he could expect to sell for a substantial profit after leaving Parliament.

After the Telegraph approached Mr Curry with the allegations, he announced that he was referring himself to the Parliamentary Commissioner. He said he would stand down from the Standards committee during the investigation, which is expected to take several months.

(2009) Conservative Party Cllr Bertha Joseph -SUSPENDED AMIDST FRAUD AND DISREPUTE

Councillor Bertha Joseph has been suspended as a councillor for six months following a decision last night (13 Oct 09) by Brent Council’s Standards Committee.

The committee met to consider allegations of breaches of the Councillor Code of Conduct by Councillor Joseph. The committee found that Councillor Joseph failed to register within 28 days receipt of gifts of cash from two local businesses amounting to £900 and recommended that Councillor Joseph pay the sum of £900 to the current Mayor’s charity. The committee also found that Councillor Joseph brought her office into disrepute and used her position as Mayor to gain an advantage for herself by obtaining sponsorship in the context of the Mayor’s Charity Ball which she used to buy clothes for her personal use.

A FORMER Lord Mayor has been suspended after he got drunk at an official ball and made lewd sexual comments to two female colleagues.

Cllr Matchet — who was wearing his ceremonial gold chains at the time — also talked about having orgasms and boasted about losing his virginity.

The 57-year-old, of Coventry, admits downing wine and cocktails and claims he can only remember ”some aspects” of the evening.

He said: ”I am an extremely argumentative person. It is the sort of comment I would have made as part of an argument about radical feminism.

Billionaire donor Lord Ashcroft tipped for top Tory foreign job

Billionaire Tory donor Lord Ashcroft was embroiled in fresh controversy last night after it emerged that he accompanied the shadow foreign secretary to key meetings overseas, amid rumours that he will be given a top foreign policy role in a future Conservative government.

The Observer can reveal that the peer, who pumps millions of pounds into marginal seats but refuses to say whether he pays tax in Britain, is flying William Hague around the world and went with him on his recent trip to the US, during which Hague met Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, and other key US figures.

The Tories last night confirmed that Ashcroft had been on the trip and attended some meetings, but refused to say who he had met, or whether he was being groomed for a high-level foreign policy position either in an advisory or a ministerial capacity in a future Tory government.

(Our Short Analysis) John Bercow Leads the Troughers of the Future in Adulation of Corruption

The Speaker is traditionally expected to remain impartial while chairing sittings of the House and he acknowledged this in his impromptu comments.

But he insisted: “I’m under absolutely no obligation whatsoever to be impartial as between the forces of democracy on the one hand and the forces of evil on the other.”

Read on

Mr. Bercow refers to “democracy”. Let’s take a look at the “democracy”, the Westminster “democracy”, to which he is surely referring:

War Crimes in Iraq Headed by Blair and Supported by the Old-gang Establishment

Cash-for-Honours

Corruption of British Politics

Wide-spread vote rigging in “democratic” Britain

Councillors guilty of postal votes fraud that would ‘shame a banana republic’

MPs’ Expenses Scandal 2009

New Labour’s Gerrymandering

Very “democratic”, wouldn’t you say?

Could the “forces of evil” he speaks of be a party and ideology he, and other pigs in the trough, find threatening to their position? After all, do criminals not move to attack those who threaten to encroach on their ‘manor’ and jeopardise their criminal activity?

In the years 2007-8, 2006-7, 2004-5 and 2002-3 he held joint first position in a league table of highest-claiming members of the House of Commons, while in 2003-4 he was the joint third. He also changed the designation of his second home on more than one occasion – meaning that he avoided paying capital gains tax on the sale of two properties.

No wonder Mr. Bercow and all the others in porcine Westminster speak out against those who threaten the corrupt status quo. Mr. Bercow is just one of many pigs at the trough who is trying to cover his back and guard his spoils. His opinion on the “forces of evil” is therefore questionable at best and irrelevant at worse.

Be they Socialists, Nationalists, independents, or the Monster Raving Loony Party –all would come in for attack by the corrupt and decadent in power should the threat these parties bring become a significant representation of the innocent, hard-working, and tax-paying electorate who rightly want an end to Westminster corruption.

With that in mind, the System regards it best to get in early at the young politically-minded (those of whom are not really affected by the expenses scandal of 2009 and the political corruption in general) to mold them and perpetuate the decadent status quo, to a reinforce the reproduction of the System.

Take a look at John Bercow

Is Sir Richard Dannat et al the Conservative Party’s New Stooge?

In an open letter condemning the use of military imagery for political ends, Lord Guthrie, Major General Patrick Cordingley, Sir Richard Dannat, and Sir Mike Jackson have all suddenly found a voice of condemnation.

One must begin to wonder where this voice was in condemnation of the “sexed-up dossier” that lead to the illegal “war” in Iraq.

One must also question why not one of these fine figures criticised or, indeed, said anything about the expenses scandal of 2009 –a scandal that saw MPs of all major parties bleeding the taxpayer dry while sending our troops, ill-equipped and chronically underfunded, out on political adventures.

Surely one would have thought that Sir Richard Dannat would have took to task the government for their deliberate underfunding of our troops –underfunding that lead to the British Army having to buy their own kit like they might be some rag-tag mercenary outfit.

We have still yet to hear even a murmur of condemnation from the British Army hierarchy for the appalling situation where, in Selly Oak military hospital, our troops lie wounded and in some cases limb-less watching television that they are forced to pay for. Where now is our senior officers’ denunciation of government for the immorality of charging injured soldiers to watch television while at the same time allowing murders, paedophiles and rapists to watch television for free in Her Majesty’s prisons?

Sir Richard Dannat, often and frequently celebrated on the website, has crossed a point of no return. He has joined a party that is headed by David Cameron –a man who is openly a signatory and supporter of a thuggish Communist front-group going by the name of Unite Against Fascism [sic].

Sir Richard now finds himself hob-nobbing in Pall Mall and Mayfair with the Conservative faithful in a party that has/had members, councillors, M.P.s, and M.E.P.s some of whom are guilty of crimes such as rape, paedophillia, violence, theft, fraud, tax evasion, vote-rigging…

How does Sir Richard Dannat reconcile his illustrious military past with a corrupt and criminal Conservative party that will determine his future? A sorry end to a formidable career.

No one knows what happens if retiring MPs refuse to make their repayments

harriet-harperson

The MPs who are most likely to defy Legg are those who are standing down. They have little to lose in saying that they won’t abide by the retrospectively imposed caps on various things. The question of whether they could be compelled to pay this money back looks like it could turn into a major row. In an interview with Andrew Neil to be broadcast tomorrow Harriet Harman seems to have no concrete idea of how this process might actually work:

Andrew Neil: What would happen to an MP of any party, what would happen to an MP who decides that he or she is standing down at the next election and refuses to pay up?

HH: Well, I think that we haven’t got to that situation. I think that…

AN: What would happen?

HH: Well, we, we, we, you know, I think that that’s an entirely hypothetical situation but I mean…

AN: It could happen – many people are not standing again, many people have had requests from Legg to pay back. What happens if they don’t pay back the money?

HH: Well, I think they will pay back, they will pay back.

AN: Even if they’re standing down?

HH: Well, the House of Common’s authorities, the Members’ Estimates Committee, will have the responsibility at that point to ensure that money which the Members’ Estimates Committee feels needs to be recouped on the back of the Legg investigation is recouped. I mean, that’s what the situation will be.

300 MPs ‘face expenses challenge’

pigs[1]

More than 300 MPs could be asked either to repay money or provide further information to justify their expenses claims, it has been reported.

MPs are set to receive letters next week about their claims over the past five years.

Auditors are expected to ask up to 325 members to justify instances where they have received public money, or to repay it, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

The letters are reportedly being sent out by former civil servant Sir Thomas Legg, who has been leading a review of all claims since 2004.

Sir Thomas is believed to be examining cases where MPs have used parliamentary expenses to improve their second homes and make a profit, rather than just maintain them.

He is also said to have uncovered more examples where taxpayers’ money has been used to pay off the capital element of mortgages, instead of just interest on the borrowing, as is allowed under the rules.

The letters will be sent out privately, and Sir Thomas is not expected to deliver his final report until December. They will also receive an email containing a detailed analysis of their use of the Additional Costs Allowance, which is intended to help meet the costs of running a second home, the newspaper reported.

MPs will be told they have three weeks to challenge Sir Thomas’s findings and can appeal to the Commons’ standards and privileges committee if they do not agree with his conclusions. According to the BBC, the Prime Minister could be among those asked to pay back cash.

In an interview, Gordon Brown said he believed the “worst offenders” in the scandal should be prosecuted.

MPs’ expenses mole: anger over Armed Forces’ treatment led to leak

Anger over the British Government’s failure to equip the Armed Forces properly, while politicians lavished taxpayers’ money on themselves, led to the leak of MPs’ expenses files.

The mole who leaked the data has told his story for the first time, in the hope that it will shame the Government into finally supplying the right equipment for the thousands of soldiers risking their lives in Afghanistan.

Politicians “still don’t get it”, he said, adding that they were still preoccupied with their own financial situation and MPs’ claims rather than the plight of troops.

“It’s not easy to watch footage on the television news of a coffin draped in a Union Jack and then come in to work the next day and see on your computer screen what MPs are taking for themselves,” he said.

“Hearing from the serving soldiers, about how they were having to work there to earn enough money to buy themselves decent equipment, while the MPs could find public money to buy themselves all sorts of extravagances, only added to the feeling that the public should know what was going on.

“That helped tip the balance in the decision over whether I should or should not leak the expenses data.”

His account appears in No Expenses Spared, a book which is published today and discloses the full story of what Gordon Brown described as “the biggest Parliamentary scandal for two centuries”.

Rowan Williams attacks Government over Iraq war

Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, mounted a direct attack on the Government over the invasion and occupation of Iraq when he used a national memorial service commemorating the servicemen killed in the conflict to accuse Tony Blair and his ministers of failing to “measure the price” of military action.

Delivering his address in St Paul’s Cathedral before a congregation including the Queen, Gordon Brown and Mr Blair himself, the spiritual head of the Church of England accused the former prime minister of indulging in rhetoric before the 2003 invasion, while leaving ordinary servicemen and women to pick up the pieces in a campaign which went on to last six years and claim 179 British lives.

”When such conflict appeared on the horizon, there were those among both policy-makers and commentators who were able to talk about it without really measuring the price,” he said.

Pension age to rise within 7 years, say Conservatives

MPs’ expenses: how disbelief turned to anger among workers hired to process claims

ABOVE: PARASITE: (Chambers English Dictionary) A creature which obtains food and physical protection from a host which never benefits from its presence.

For the two dozen parliamentary staff, civil servants and security guards who filed into a small room at The Stationery Office in July 2008, the task of processing countless thousands of MPs’ expense receipts seemed to promise nothing more than months of tedium.

But in the days and weeks that followed, the prevailing mood among them was one of disbelief, and then anger, as they discovered that MPs were claiming millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money to feather their nests with almost every luxury money can buy.

The workers became so incensed as they pored over receipts for home cinema systems, new kitchens, food, furniture and second homes that managers had to order them not to tell any of their friends or family about what they had seen.

What the managers did not know until months later was that one of the people hired to help conceal details of the MPs’ greed by “redacting” the receipts decided that the public had a right to know what their money was being spent on.

The mole has broken his silence to describe for the first time why he decided to risk the wrath of Parliament by leaking the expenses files, through an intermediary, to The Daily Telegraph.

In addition, defence spending as a proportion of Britain’s gross domestic product had dropped to its lowest level since before the Second World War.

Taxpayers foot MPs junket to South Pacific ‘to investigate climate change

A group of politicians spent tens of thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money flying to the South Pacific to investigate the impact of climate change, it has been disclosed.

The estimated cost to taxpayers to send the group, who flew business class to Fiji via Australia, was at least £68,200, the Channel 4 Dispatches programme said.

Critics labelled the junket “inappropriate and unnecessary” with the long-haul flights and local travel leaving a hefty carbon footprint.

Those who took the trip were Labour MPs Jim Sheridan, Betty Williams, Neil Turner, Meg Munn and Colin Challen, who were joined by Tory MP Andrew Rosindell, Liberal Democrat peer Lord Roper of Thorney Island and the Labour peer Lord Lea of Crondall.

MPs owe £140,000 for food and wine

MPs owe the House of Commons almost £140,000 in unpaid food and drink bills, it has been revealed.

The House authorities are chasing cash from more than half of all MPs for wining, dining and entertaining in Parliament’s restaurants.

They include 77 MPs who have failed to settle their tabs – averaging more than £500 each – for more than six months.

The TaxPayers’ Alliance said it was unacceptable that MPs left their debts to the public purse unpaid for so long. Food and drink in the Commons is already subsidised by the taxpayer to the tune of £6.1 million a year. The details of MPs’ debts were obtained from the Commons by the Press Association under the Freedom of Information Act.

They showed that in August, 329 MPs owed a total of £138,046 in entertainment and catering – an average of £419 each. Some £45,150 of that had been due from 77 MPs for more than six months. The figures include MPs’ liabilities from events they have sponsored – giving third parties such as constituents access to Parliamentary facilities – as well as personal bills.

The Commons also revealed that another £10,018 was owed by 52 MPs in overpaid salaries and allowances. That included £4,229 outstanding from 20 MPs for more than six months. These figures are distinct from the hundreds of thousands of pounds of dubious claims paid back by MPs in the wake of the expenses scandal.

Matthew Elliott, chief executive of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “It’s simply unacceptable for MPs to leave their debts to the taxpayer unpaid for so long. We’ve heard a lot of rhetoric from the Government and Opposition benches about the importance of everyone paying invoices swiftly in the recession, but it seems that many of them don’t practice what they preach.

“It is bad enough that these bars and restaurants are already heavily subsidised, without MPs eating and drinking on a tab and then leaving bills unpaid. Public spending in all areas needs to be brought under tighter control, and that should start at the top.”

Boris Johnson rebuked for interference in police by senior officer

A police chief has issued a further rebuke to Boris Johnson over growing political interference, saying it is in danger of damaging the police’s reputation “beyond repair”.

He will use a speech next week in front of Alan Johnson, the Home Secretary, to attack politicians who want greater influence and control of policing in Britain.

It follows comments by Kit Malthouse, the London mayor’s deputy, that the Conservatives now had their “hands on the tiller” of the Metropolitan Police.

The remark led to Sir Paul Stephenson, the Met commissioner, breaking off his holiday to refute the suggestion that the force was under the operational control of any political party.

(2009) Conservative Leader David Cameron M.P. -PARASITE AND SUPPORTER OF COMMUNISTS

David Cameron MP, the Conservative leader, is to repay almost £1,000 claimed on Parliamentary expenses after reviewing his claims over recent weeks.

The Tory leader had already announced his intention to pay back £680 he claimed towards repairs at his second home in Oxfordshire.

But on Thursday he wrote to the Commons Fees Office volunteering the repayment of £947.29 – including the £680 for repairs – after identifying a series of over-claims.

“Over the last few weeks, I have carefully gone through the claims I have made against the Additional Costs Allowance (ACA) since 2004,” he wrote in a letter to Terry Bird, the Commons’ director of operations.

“This has brought to light a number of points. I would like to make clear that these were discovered as a result of a thorough review by my office, not as a result of media inquiries.”

The additional amounts for which he is reimbursing the Fees Office include:

:: £218.91 in mortgage over-claims resulting from “an inadvertent administrative error” arising from changes to his home loan arrangements;

:: £9 he was over-compensated for on an electricity and gas bill;

:: £10 too much he received for a researcher’s phone bill;

:: £29.38 he claimed towards a banner on his website he was subsequently asked by the Commons to take down.

(2009) The Whole Conservative Party

The corruption which infests Westminster is endemic at all levels of the Conservative Party, as evidenced by the jailing of yet another Tory councillor for stealing £36,000 to fund his trips to the Carlton Club and the Savoy Hotel in the hope it would help boost his career prospects.

Dorset Conservative councillor Daniel Smy, 35, racked up huge bills by enjoying chauffeur-driven trips to expensive restaurants and the exclusive Conservative gentleman’s club. According to court evidence, Mr Smy had dreams of becoming an MP and used the money to ingratiate himself with the upper echelons of the Tory party.

He claimed the exorbitant trips on expenses and forged cheques from a building society staff association he was in charge of to pay into his back account.

But his double life was exposed when the association treasurer checked the books and realised Mr Smy had racked up thousands of pounds in expenses.

He pleaded guilty to 10 counts of theft and forgery and was jailed for 12 months at Bournemouth Crown Court.

The hearing heard Smy was a councillor for West Dorset, the deputy chairman of the South Dorset Conservative Association and chairman of a parish council at the time. His day job was as the chairman of the Portman Building Society’s staff association, which was funded by workers’ subscriptions.

Realising the finance checking procedures were “lax” he started to claim back money for his jaunts to London. Alison England, prosecuting, said he enjoyed stays at the Savoy and Royal Horseguards hotels, a shopping excursion to Selfridges and a trip to the Carlton Club.

She said: “He was in a position of trust and he had the opportunity to claim expenses for travel, accommodation and food and the like. The treasurer became aware that the expenses being claimed weren’t of an appropriate level. Smy led a life of fine dining and expensive living by drinking and staying in hotels.”

Councillor Peter Reed, a former colleague of shamed Smy, said he had got carried away with his political ambitions. He said: “The Carlton Club is used by the upper echelons of the Tory party and Daniel Smy harboured ambitions of playing a role in national politics and was currying favour at the Carlton Club to try and improve his chances of a career in politics.

“When he was a councillor here it was obvious his ambitions lay beyond local politics. But he was leading this double life of trips to the light fantastic of London at weekends but doing it on the back of his fellow workers’ money.”

Smy carried out the 10 offences between 2003 and 2006. He asked for a further 86 offences to be taken into consideration by the court. The Reverend Jaqueline Birdseye, of Smy’s local parish church, said he had been involved with community projects and deserved another chance.

(2009) Conservative Youth Leader Matt Lewis

Matt Lewis, a member of Conservative Future, boasted that his “bad taste party outfit” included a blonde wig, pink pyjamas, a teddy bear and a vial of fake blood.

Other figures from the same organisation joined in the tasteless joke about the missing girl in exchanges on a social networking website.

One asked Mr Lewis: “Is this a cunning Baldrick style plan to obtain the reward money?”

Another friend of Mr Lewis said he planned to dress up as Robert Murat, the man who was wrongly accused of complicity in Madeleine’s disappearance.

And others suggested going as the wife and daughter of Josef Fritzl, who were kept imprisoned in a cellar in Amstetten, Austria.

On New Year’s Day, after the party, Mr Lewis sent a message to another Conservative Future member which said: “There was a brief moment when I thought I might have gone too far with elements of the costume but it was OK – someone else was Baby P.”

(2009) Conservative candidate Haroon Rashid -VOTE RIGGING

A Conservative candidate, from Buckinghamshire, who was contesting a marginal seat at the last general election conspired with five other men to ‘rig’ the result, a court has heard.

Haroon Rashid hoped to win the West Bradford seat by using bogus postal vote applications, Leeds Crown Court was told.

Prosecuting, Mr Gordon Cole QC, told the jury the plan was ‘very simple, illegal and dishonest.’

He said: ‘Had the conspiracy continued on through to the end, had it been successful, Haroon Rashid may very well have been elected as Member of Parliament and been sitting in the House of Commons.’

Rashid, 38, of Richings Way, Iver, Mohammed Sultan, 51, of Toller Lane, Bradford, Mohammed Rafiq, 68, of Cecil Avenue, Bradford, Reis Khan, 39, of Whetley Hill, Bradford and Jamshed Khan, 64, of Russell Street, Bradford, all deny conspiracy to defraud the electoral registration officer of Bradford City Council.

Another man, Alyas Khan, has admitted the charge, the jury was told.

Mr Cole told the jury the case involved Postal Vote Applications and a conspiracy to submit fraudulent applications.

Mr Cole said the defendants falsely registered individuals to vote on the electoral register, using the names of people who did not live at the addresses to which they were registered.

The plan was to ‘harvest’ the bogus votes, he added.

He said they hoped to ‘rig’ the system ‘so that Haroon Rashid could and would get elected’

The trial continues

The jury was told the conspiracy failed and the sitting MP was re-elected by just over 3,000 votes.

The town, district and county councillor for Woodbridge had previously pleaded not guilty to the offences and in November said: “I maintain my innocence and I will be fighting all these charges.”

(2008) Conservative Cllr. Maria Gatland

Maria Gatland stepped down from her post at Croydon Council after being exposed as the author of a “kiss and tell” book that detailed her relationships with figures in the provisionals, written under her maiden name Maria McGuire.
Her secret past emerged following cryptic comments at a public meeting from a local Save Our Schools campaigner, who referred to the cabinet member for children, young people and learners as “Councillor McGuire”.
The man, Peter Latham, then apologised for his comment, but added that he was a devotee of Irish history and had been reading a book about the IRA which “you, Councillor Gatland, might have heard about as you are Irish”.
Croydon Council said news of Miss Gatland’s experience with the IRA came as a “complete shock”. She has been suspended from the local authority’s ruling Conservative group pending an investigation.

(2008) Conservative M.E.P. Den Dover -PARASITE

A senior Tory MEP was last night thrown out of the party as he faced a fraud investigation over an expenses scandal.
Brussels chiefs have already ruled that Den Dover is guilty of a ‘conflict of interest’ and ‘unaccountable expenditure’ by paying his staffing allowance to a family firm run from his £1million home.
David Cameron had previously expressed his determination to root out MPs and MEPs who abuse their expenses and allowances.
So hours after learning that Mr Dover had been censured, the Tory leader took the toughest action open to him.
Mr Dover can only be stripped of his seat by voters, but he has been expelled from the party and will be unable to seek re-election as a Tory.
The case has also been referred to the European anti-fraud unit OLAF.
In June, Mr Dover was forced to resign as Tory chief whip in Brussels after admitting that he paid £750,000 of taxpayers’ money to MP Holdings, a company he set up after joining the European Parliament in 1999.
His wife Kathleen, 68, and daughter Amanda, 20, were handed £272,000 as directors.
EU officials said there was a conflict of interest involved because the former Chorley MP had an ‘economic interest, or any shared interest, with the beneficiary’ of the public money.
Mr Dover, 70, also spent £32,400 on repairs to the MP Holdings’ headquarters, located at his home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
